Manage your lifestyle

Our digital lives are a breeding ground for anxiety. It’s all too easy to get sucked into the carnival of addictive prods and nudges – the ping of an arriving message, the notification to connect, the step tracker, sleep tracker, calorie tracker... Sometimes it feels as if everything around us is on a mission to control us and make our hearts beat faster. In some ways, it is.

Fortunately, there are steps you can take to gain control, but first you need to understand your opponent. Why does anxiety attack and what you can do to stop it?

Avoid these
common anxiety triggers

Anxiety is a personal thing. It's different for everybody. Some people find that their environment can trigger their anxiety. Seemingly mundane things you might want to examine include lighting, temperature, wall colours, noise, etc. For others, the triggers are more to do with their lifestyle and personal choices.
