One of the drawbacks of working from home is you can end up sitting on your bum all day. Sitting can lead to a weakening of muscles in and around your hips, glutes, thighs and lower back. It can also cause back pain and uncomfortable tight hips.
Some yoga and lifestyle gurus say that tension in the hips is not just down to physiological, but also psychological factors. Your hips are said to be a repository for stress and built-up anxiety and by stretching and opening your hips, you can release this tension and all the trapped emotions.
